Yeah mate it was but please forgive the strange looking bloke in the blue coat he kept sneaking into the pics

There's a type 23 frigate on there and I'm starting one of those tomorrow , it's good to get real photos of kits you have so you can reference things like colours and rigging sometimes kits don't give those sorts of touches

I'm sure you'll do it proud mate, I wanted HMS Leander and then convert it to a batch 3 so I could model one of my ships but alas...rocking horse poo springs to mind

I'll do my best it's been a while since I've done a warship.

It's always difficult to change a kit into something else I did a HMS Ramilies by combining two kits for an old chap who served on her and that was a nightmare so I know what you mean

Great day out, re pic no 8 I didn't know about that building method for the prow of a ship, I would have thought house bricks would get a bit soggy and it must be special waterproof mortar. What is the dog skeleton ?

The skeleton of the dog is real it was found on the reck of the Mary rose as is the skeleton of the man , he apparently was an archer.

These photos don't tell a tenth of of what is at the museum it was a wonderful day and me and the wife are going back because we didn't get the chance to go over to the submarine museum
