As some folks on here might have seen, I'm building the Airfix 1/72 RNLI Shannon Class Lifeboat over on 'What's on the bench 2025'

I'm now at the decal stage and this morning this happened.....

This decal runs the whole length of the hull. The other side was fine!

I've Emailed Airfix and am awaiting their response. They have been good with problems in the past, so I hope this will continue.

Watch this space......

Cheers.

Damn. That shouldn't Ron. Hope they provide you a new set. Maybe use some Microscale liquid decal film on the next lot. Good luck.

Unusual for modern Airfix, in my experience they have some of the best decals out there these days…Tamiya on the other hand…..
Hope it gets sorted for you Ron…..otherwise it’s out with the bow pen 😇

Shouldn't have to use anything - except warm water.

The rest of the decals on the sheet were fine. It was just this one duff one.

Bob, painting such a small and fiddly decal replacement is way beyond my capabilities.

In any case, why should I put up with second best when the decal is clearly at fault?
