Just used Micro Set for the first time & used a little too much & have ended up with water marks around the decals on the wings.
Any advice on how I can rectify?
 
They should come off with a little water and a cotton bud.

My remedy is very similar to that of stillp

Use a large-ish brush, like a number 6 or 7; dip it in water; paint over the area, which will wipe & wash away any residue
