This is a project I’ve been wanting to do also for years. I build the Woodland scenic D7 years ago but it will be updated with new parts. The scraper is a old Matchbox with some added goods as I go. Enjoy the pics

The torture never stops! Back to back '87 scale projects, wow! What is the white metal casting from Lee? I shall follow along on this as well. Hang in there.:thumb2: Rick H.

Worked on the Dozer and Scraper a little this afternoon.I used a pencil to paint the blade cables and added a piece of aluminum tubing for the stack and scratch build a tongue out of the front part of the old Woodland scenic grader. That’s it for today my eyes and hands can’t take any more.

Thanks for the complement Rick. My eyes just gave out today. Wow never realize how small this stuff was. Can’t believe I built this stuff on a weekly bases for 10yrs

Hi Lee - ambitious project turning that old Matchbox scraper into anything resembling the scrapers in the photos

Are you going to strip the thick old and chipped enamel finish off first? Thick paint ok for playability but it tends to obscure the casting detail underneath

There are some rather large mould seams on the tractor tracks that could do with filing/scraping off as well.....

Off to a good start anyway with the more accurate wheels at the front

Good luck with the rest of it :thumb2:
