So you are shipwrecked on a lovely desert island, 🏝️🏝️🏝️.......but luckily your fave box of kits got washed up with you....and, it also had your nippers, adhesive, tweezers, paint, varnish.
Lucky or what! I know, I know, its a stretch.... :)

The question being what three (3) kits would you like to have with you on a desert island? (lets just assume you have everything else, shelter, water, a food source, clothes, maybe a fishing rod, etc, come on, its just for fun.....)
NB: Max of three, no cheating....!

For me, it would be, erm...... 🤔

Probably a nice Lancaster kit, maybe Airfix Dambusters.
A nice big Tiger tank, probably Tamiya.
Airfix German E-Boat.

What say you? (y);)(y)

Ok here’s my list 😊

HK Models 1/32 B-25 Mitchell

Airfix 1/24 Mosquito

And although I don’t build ships a Trumpeter 1/200 HMS Hood as I think I would have a bit more time on my hands to do it justice 😉

Geoff.

Something from here.... So I can get off the island

And something from here, to keep me 'hydrated'

And the gubbins to build a solar or wind up radio...... So I can listen to music

As to plastic kits..... I really have no idea

And a tale from childhood..... When I was about 12 a friends dad built a sailing boat in his garage....took him about two years.... Beautiful looking thing when he was done..... On the day of the launch he wanted to test the buoyancy float things to see if it would sink...... Rounded up eight or nine of us kids, down to the river..... We all piled on and he opened the hatch thingys that flooded the boat...... Didn't sink under our weight fortunately but he would never get away with it now...... Not a life belt between us, endangering kids lives, etc

We were a lot tougher in the 70s .... Before 'elf n safety and child protection appeared :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
