I always use Air Berlin about £39.00 return(but only from Stansted) to Dusseldorf and by train from there.

This year we flew Easyjet from Edinburgh to Schiphol, hired a car and drove. Saved changing planes and a straightforward 3hr (approx) drive. We're currently investigating flights to Dortmund and Cologne but no final decisions as yet. It'll come down to price and convenience in the end. The journey to Warwick will take longer!

Ryan Air from Prestwick to Dusseldorf or EasyJet from Luton to Dortmund.

Our flights (Edinburgh - Schiphol) booked at £51 return all inc. Car & hotel sorted (I'm told). See you all there - if you can find us!

We should get some www.scale-models.co.uk merchandise designed.

That way when we could recognise eachother at the show -compulsory baseball hats or something...

...there is an online company where you can send your company logo to and they will print the custom design and host the online shop etc. That way we wouldn't need to print a batch load of items and there wouldn't be any upfront cost.

Guy. Stansted Airport is 5mins away from me. if you are going, there could be the possibility of being able to leave your car on my drive and i give you a lift to and from the airport.

The EMBC contingent will be at the ETAP in Dortmund - trouble is there are 2 and I can't remember which one offhand! I'll check and let you know. Flying out 17th arriving Schiphol 11.25. Leaving 22nd at 22.05. Model Show gluttons - but no doubt our German friends will have some alternative entertainment lined up for us on the odd day. Last year we took time out to go down a coal mine and visit a couple of local club members who were building the most wonderfully complex submarine I have ever had the privilege to see. It is hoped that it will be ready to display at the show this year. Can't wait for April!
