discussion Douglas DB-8A - Pictures

Hello everyone,

Just finished my Whirlwind and intend to carry on with a Douglad DB8.

Who knows where to find drawings/pictures of this Douglas DB-8A?

I'm drawing this plane on a 1:50 scale using the 3D-measurements which are considerably different from her sister the Northrop A17.

A difference of 61cm in length and 49cm span may hardly be visible (± 10mm) on 1:50, but you know 'scale has to be scale'.

When it's ready I'll display the card-model over here.

That's what I made from 'all' information. The mails I received from mr. Jonker and mr. Grisnich (Nederlandse Luchvaartsite) were very helpful. The (recognicance) shutter just behind the wing roots underneath the fuselage was a crime and caused a too wide wing/fuselage connection.
