A simple tip to stop losing small parts when cut from sprue. Simply use a thin sandwich bag or similar. Put the sprue and all inside before cutting. Hey presto - no more "ping". Apologies if this has been posted before.

Or just just put some tape on the piece you are cutting off. Can't tell you how many small parts I've left off because they absolutely would not be seen upon completion of the build and added nothing to it by being there unseen.
