discussion Dr beechings legacy (abandoned)

For those who know who Dr beeching is,he is responsible for Britain's loss of thousands of miles of branch lines and stations in 60s.


This will be set in that time with the end of a branch line terminus about to be dismantled having been closed for a couple of years.


The pics will show roughly how things might look but will be subject to change as I build.

Nice idea Peter.


I do remember Beeching very well - the toe rag ruined my steam engine spotting days and being allowed to climb onto the foot plate............and who wants to collect diesel engine numbers?

Due to health issues as I cannot stand for more than 10 minutes at a time I am putting this on hold for long time or I may even have to abandon it I haven't decided yet
