To my big embarassment i never finished the StuG started on the group build :unamused:. However all is not lost, i have dug it out of the box of shame and restarted it, but no engine, could not get the CMK kit to fit and fingers crossed a full interior StuG hopefully not far away:thinking:

So here goes

Shame on you Bob - never thought you would abandon a StuG and complete a ship! We do indeed live in strange times ☺️

You Bob? Abandoning a Stug? With your reputation? What were you thinking? I'll have to see how you finish it then.

Bob. I am stunned to my core.... That said I've still not finished three I was doing for the GB......:flushed:

NIce to see you have this shelf queen back on the go. Hopefully you have done all the wheels and tracks all ready.

Cheers Steve

Next up are the magic tracks, waiting for some VMS slow dry cement, it looks perfect for these, i hope !!

Morning Bob.

I am saying nothing, though thinking about it it must be a change of heart, come on admit it you really want to do a T34 and in 4BO:upside:

Oh no say it isn’t so..bob the stug possibly having to potentially make a name change because he didn’t complete a stug build...no no no no.. where will the madness end...lol

Go on Bob. I succumbed to the darkside and now I'm building a T 34.
Wash your mouth out Steve, how could you:sleeping2:

Right back on the land of the StuG

I have always followed Dragons plans by attaching the fenders to all parts of the superstructure then in one piece fitting to the hull, but, its fiddly and the fenders never sit quite right so.

Added the front section holding the drivers inspection hatches to the hull then fitted the fenders to the hull followed by the main section. This was fiddly but went ok and finally the engine deck just clicked into place, looks a lot better, thank god for that!

Not far to paint!

Not going to lower myself and associate with the comments above, just to say a Stug would be a good starting point.
Mike.
