I agree, the weathering/distressing is more than usual-that is more likely down to you getting fed up and losing interest-easy done mate. Still a nice model though.

Si:)
it wasn't the painting I was fed up with I quite enjoyed it it was more over enthusiasm lol , the oil brush work took out some of the distressing so I added some more but went too far ,

I think we can say it's been on patrol a long time :D

I like it to mate, if every model you did was wethered to a similar mark it would get a bit boring maybe.

Maybe it survived a nearby explosion? Or has just been mistreated?

I like it,as the desert is a very harsh place and dose take its toll on ever thing that move,s on it,

I do like the different tones on it,looks as if its been to hell and back, :D

Oh my God!! Poor Jeep...is heavy weathered!!!! :D

I understand you....when sometimes you lost the interest on a model ;)

Anyway looks nice, Alan.

Really like this, it's very interesting to look at and a great finish

Cheers guys I appreciate the great comments

You know the more I see this the more it looks better , yes I over did the weathering and it probably could do with a good service but I don't think it's unbelievable to see one similar after a reconnaissence mission :)

I like that Alan ....... Great job. It looks proper battered as it should. The desert environment is a very unforgicing place.
