Not done a biplane in a while so I have this one in my stash to butcher while I wait for so stuff through the post for my nex main project.
This kit is a direct reboxing of the Eduard kit and as ever it's a quality kit with lots of nice tiny pieces to lose there won't be much airbrushing as the part's are so small I will brushing most of the kit
Here's some of what I have done it's mostly paintwork.
And for size indication all those squares are one centimetre.20190620_105345.jpg20190620_105414.jpg20190620_105850.jpg20190620_105820.jpg20190620_105933.jpg20190620_105948.jpg20190620_110241.jpg

Very impressed with the effect on the propeller blades.
How did you do it?

Peter.
I'm in, oap seating with nurse please.
If the prop is a taste of what's going to follow it should be good .:thumb2:

I first did a coat of tamiya wooden deck tan.
And then I used this20190623_092839.jpgfollwed from the set above I first dry coated in the first shade20190623_092848.jpgAnd then a light coat of this to get the grain effect and topped off with a coat of mig gloss varnish.20190623_092858.jpg

Hi Peter
The number of kits which get reboxed, updated, new decals etc can be very confusing. Eduard are usually nice kits. Some of those parts are indeed tiny. As others have said the wooden prop is very realistic.

Started on the the cockpit and as ever it's a bit fiddly but I did get together and a bit more wood staining still needs some work.20190623_113816.jpg20190623_133829.jpg20190623_165421.jpg

Almost finished just rigging and decals to go but with the thickness of the rigging it might be another few weeks before it's done.20190627_151623.jpg20190627_152610.jpg20190627_184647.jpg20190627_185427.jpg20190627_185505.jpg

I had forgotten about this one until I found it lurking at the back of the shelf and the I found out why that because I couldn't face the rigging but I just picked it up and got on with it so it's my first real attempt it's complete but just needs tiding up.20200221_162525.jpg20200221_162537.jpg20200221_162601.jpg20200221_162628.jpg
