Looks really good Benny ; the Elefant has just the right amount of weathering & the figs will look great when painted.

Cheers

Patrick

very nice looking Benny, Elefant, matches the base real well,is that some type off sand ?

did you do the horse as a chestnut ? if possible could you show a couple off pictures off the horse for me please  just a bit closer :D

cannot wait to see what you do with the base and waiting for your figures as well, keep up the good work :)

Excellent work Benny.

I love the soil! Is simply perfect

Thx ;-)

The groundwork is made of plaster and then I poured plaster onto the wet surface. The plaster soaks the water but don't loose its texture ;-)

Yes Monica , it's a Chestnut (in Germany it's called Fuchs which means fox ;-) )

I will take some pics today after work :-)

Cheers Benny

Thx Monica ;-)

I'm not an expert in horses but as with everything in modelling I read a lot about horses and their white marks and so on... Studied a lot of pictures and startet painting ;-)

All by Airbrush except the leather parts. ;-)

may i ask what color brown did you use please, as I think Vallejo has a nice cavalry brown, because that one dose match leather color well,

it is a nice job indeed on the horse,

some times i think i do to much reading and research and not enough modeling

Thread owner
Research is the halfway of modelling I think ;-)

I used black for the shadows from the bottom, red brown from tamiya (think xf 64) for the brown and for the highlights a little bit flat earth from tamiya.

The legs were dusted with buff from tamiya ;-)

The brushwork was done with Vallejo colors.
