Here's an attempt at half a tree root and gate with a path

Thanks pjgtech! I used polystyrene, blended egg cartons, plaster of paris, brown acrylic paint for the embankments. Then I used florist wire, latex rubber and paint for the tree and a twig for the stump. Then is used fine sand for underneath the grass. For the path I put grit down on the path then painted the thing grey.
