I have a fondness for trainer aircraft, so this had been on my want list / build list for a while, so this is a good opportunity to get it built!
I ordered a couple bottles of paint for this last night, and also happily discovered Dead Design makes a canopy mask set (and for the Wingsy Ki-51 also) so that was duly ordered as well. I have a set of Eduard Japanese seat belts on hand so those should be the only other additions to the kit.

Looks good Ernie,
Canopy masks are certainly such a help!!
... and, being a trainer, something a little different :thumb2: ,
I look forward to seeing how it goes.

Thank you! After doing a bit of research I am getting more and more excited to get going on this kit. There are several things I want try just to see how they will work out.

Nice one Ernie :thumb2:

Well you live and learn, I didn’t know there was a trainer version of the Zero :surprised:

Good luck with your build.

Geoff.

While lesser known, apparently some 400 were produced using either the A6M2 or A6M5 as a base.
