Here is the revell F-117 not the best kit of this aircraft I have built. There were one or two fit issues and the plastic has a texture to it.

In the pictures it looks very grey but isn't that bad to the naked eye. I sprayed matt varnish on it after painting big mistake as it left it looking greyish.

The aircraft this is modelled on was a participant in I think the 97 air tattoo at Fairford.

let another great build Terry,I like the look off this one, the texture to it looks diffidence ,

and even the pilot turned out well, great job

Nice work Terry. In a way I think the greying effect on the black has worked well for scale effect.

Looks great Terry, thats a hard finish to do and you tackled it nicely!

It is very difficult to execute Single color scheme finishing , but you done great. From the pics, can see the gray effects , well done. It makes the model very realistic.

...and another great build Terry...again! ;)

I've always liked the F-117, don't know why? It's ugly as hell o_O

Lee :)

I agree, it doesn't look as it should even leave the hanger! (the plane, not the model!)

I think it looks good terry , black or very dark grey leaves it featureless so it's good to see the detail and the pilot looks realy cool :)

I agree with Joe, the grey looks right for the scale - black would be wrong somehow.

It is a strange looking beastie, but then I guess every contour & panel does its job to defeat radar emissions.

Or did do it's job Patrick as I believe all them have now been placed in storage in boxes in a hangar. From what I can gather this is to stop the technology sed from falling in to unwanted hands.

Another nice result Terry. I seem to remember having this kit and the canopy was in a bright yellow plastic.
