Hi all. just started a 1/32 old Revell F-6f 3/5 Hellcat and it has decals for the Fleet Air Arm. Might be an interesting sceeme to do. Anyone perhaps have any pix of the camo pattern please? the kit strangely does not give any!

Can I assume it would be the standard temperate sea sceeme of dark grey/slate grey over light grey? or would the bottom have been SKY?

It served during D-day, hence the stripes.

Thanx

the lower half was as far as I know sky... http://www.eduard.com/store/out/media/84134.pdf

From the decal sheet, can you say what the serial number and ID codes are.

The sky referenced to on the Eduard instructions is I believe Sky Grey. NOT sky as in duck egg green....

I think you will be OK with Dark slate and Dark sea Grey.

A quick google has dug a few images of models with the bottom painted in the "duck egg" sky colour....

Thanx lads, I think I got what I need.

Ian the decals side codes are E -roundal- W with what looks like "ROYAL NAVY JV 105"

What do you make of that?

JV105 was with the 804NAS and flew off the carrier HMS Emperor. Maybe that will help finding more info/pictures. It would seem that the under surfaces where Sky, (the green one) top side EDSG+Dark Slate.
