Hi all,

I've not been on for a while and it looks like I've been missing some fine modelling. I thought I'd just share this one with you as it got my juices flowing.

Spent Fathers Day at Harewood House in North Yorkshire (father in-law runs the place) and they had a classic car rally on which was awesome in it itself, topped off by the fact that they had a replica MK.IX Spitfire on display which you caould pay to sit in......OH YES!!!! So naturally I paid the price......photo's of wing commander Holmes as follows.

Also bought myself some de-comissioned .303 browning bullets.

Great treat Chris. Think that if I had eaten the treats my kids presented me with I would not have fitted in to the Spitfire.

Looks a very nice place with the ornamental gardens & the lake. Kind of place Pauline & I like to explore.
