I've heard about this but not in much detail.

Amazing what technology can do for modelling nowadays.

I've used one of these for a couple of years now in my Trafalgar class. Very useful and keeps the onlookers amused if I'm wandering round with the headphones on.

mmm.. this could go in my 'rescue' RC boat, and have the sound transmitted wireless to a headphone.

How do you receive the signal from the unit, is it via a radio set?

How do you receive the signal from the unit' date=' is it via a radio set?[/quote']The kit comes with the parts for the pinger unit and the hydrophone unit. You can use head phones or speaker. You dangle the receiver unit in the water and adjust the volume and listen for the "ping" every few seconds.

It's all on my site at the link in the first post.

Jason:music: "Ping" "Ping" "Ping"
