Brilliant model and a great story but didn't they surrender a little bit early? :clap_1:

Errrr! no. German forces surrendered in dribs and drabs in various theatres from around the 1st of May. Berlin for example was surrendered on the 2nd. The official unconditional surrender of all German forces was on the 8th of May, what we now call V.E. day and the day these aircraft were delivered to the Ameicans at Munchen-Riem. There had been a ceasefire on all fronts for the previous 24 hours.
