Since the celica is going to be a slow project thought id start a side project

This was in an auction job lot i won recently

Its by a polish company called RPM and dates from mid 90s

Apparently there was a Polish-Soviet war in 1920 and Poland was very underequipped....... Someone designed and built an armoured car based on the Ford model T car..... Ended up building @17......some of which were still in service in the early 30s!

It looks a fairly basic kit but very small.... Decals look very iffy..... Paint scheme looks interesting..... 4 colours with a thin black border..... I have an idea on how i shall tackle that... Fingers crossed lol

Love these quirky pre WW2 vehicles. Looks a straightforward build although that paint scheme will be a challenge.Nothing you can't sort out :)

What an interesting subject. At least the Model T chassis would have been robust. Off to a great start Paul

Heres the plan

Primed in black....... Masked with 1mm tape random shapes..... No way can i follow the pattern on the box lol...... Then fill in the spaces with sandy yellow/green/brown/bluey grey

Fingers crossed the black dosnt lift

The masking tape lifted a lot of the black primer so had to do a lot of freehand touching up in all of the colours

Next step is let it harden, coat of clear to seal it, decals, a wash then matt coat to dull it all down
