Hi all, just joined the forum the other day as I have started my first model build.

For now I plan to build 2 90 spec mk2 golfs, the first of which will be a replica of my friends car.

Wish I had taken step by step pics but as usual I forgot so here is where I'm at at the moment.

I have had to make an arch kit from scratch and the ibiza splitter too. The big bumpers came from a german site and I am waiting on a 1:24 th scale audi tt that I picked up cheap on ebay.

Hoping to get some more done over the weekend but need some suggestions of some matt black paint that I can apply over the gloss black on the plastic arches and bumper tops.

Most makes of modeling paint can supply flat or satin black, Tamiya X-18 satin, Tamiya XF-1 flat
