Can anyone help ?, I have a, " Futaba 6 J. 2.4 S-FHSS ", outfit my problem is that I have more than one model, is it possible to use a "Planet receiver 2.4 " as sold by "Air Tek" hobbies, and using

Futaba standard servos. Any advice , or information more than welcome.

thank you, S.

I am no expert in the RC field but anything that can crash I would stick to the same make for sender and receivers. I would always be wondering when the car will run of the track or who big a hole the aircraft will make when it hit the ground. A boat unless a speed boat, would just die on the water, so its just a case of waiting for it to float back to the bank. Unless it sinks.... o.O

Hi Ian M, thanks for your reply, using the same make would be my first choice, but the cost is more than I can afford, I am looking for a reliable safe option that will work safely, at a more affordable cost.

I have five model aircraft, for which I would require four receiver's, which soon mounts up, maybe I am flogging a dead horse as the saying goes, but worth trying to find out if can be done. thanks again

for your reply

your's sincerely

If you have a decent transmitter then you'll get the signal out there (presuming the receiving electronics are in good order) at the end of the day the crystals (internal or plug in) are the thing that matter.

With the receivers there may be a difference in plug connection on other brand servos (sometimes jot working at all and sometimes reversing the output)

That's all I remember as important from my rc days.

Hi Sam, this maybe of some help: http://www.futaba-rc.com/receivers/fhss-s-fhss-compat.html

What we need is Andy to look in, he must have a handle on this sort of thing...
