Well I have dressed the hull area around the propeller shaft outlets with white putty to dress the seams up once I sand. While that's to one side I'll take a look at the turrets A, B, C, D and notice from my ref the smoke ejectors at the rear are a little large so I'll reshape them to be in line and dress them up too.
Looking at all the stuff I've got to do this is going to be one fun build

Ops forgot pics , I used sparingly white putty around the prop shafts but still to sand

Do you like PE Robert ?

Something to get your teeth into there.

Some great books written on Hunt the Bismark. Quite a point in history.

Look forward to your build Robert.

Thanks for the vote of confidence
It looks like the PE never stops either as I've had to order the flak 20mm as there's two on the bridge and the kit does not do the model justice. I'm still looking for 3 screws for the propellers ( or are they screws??
There's a fair bit of detail to go on the model and I'll really have to be extra careful with some of the PE as its very delicate.
So far I'm enjoying

Kind regards

Robert

Been a while for me to get chance to get back to the ship but the next step is in process
I believe this is the front of the hull sonar or the equivelant. The kit just gives you a flush hull so I need to make a few modifications and then redress with modelling putty to get the correct form and shape.
I've sanded all the hull drilled all the portholes
The next lot of PE and brass barrels arrived as well
This is the 10.5 in cannons AA and also the flak veirling ( barrels are thinner than a fine needle I took a pic of a mini ha drill next to the barrels for the 2cm to show how small they are

Hi Robert
That book you have looks excellent. Glad to see this up and running. Very long project but you're off to a fine start.

Wow see how small those pins are compared to the drill press. I'd loose sight of those as soon as I opened the packet. !
