I am trying to find out what would be he best colours to paint rucksacks, tarpaulins etc on my German 1/35 Panther.

Hi Dave and welcome to the forum. The colour of your accessories almost certainly would depend on the theatre you are talking about as well as possibly the period. If you are looking at European theatre they would probably be German Grey but desert vehicles would use a sand colour.

On the Russian front you might even find white so I would decide where and when you want to base your model and the accessories will be coloured accordingly.
