discussion Gold Medal for Airfix!....and how!

You might remember a few days ago I wrote on my Mustang build thread that Airfix had enclosed the wrong decals for the kit and they emailed me to say it would take 28 days to attend to my enquiry?

Today I have received the correct sheet.
Pity I've brush painted the red bit



So, in no time at all and with no fuss they have sorted it.

Good to hear positive customer relations , especially as Airfix seem to be a very popular target for slagging off ( unfairly in my opinion) . It seems to be a case of Top Gear syndrome , where the herd mentality just repeats what theyve heard because everyone else is saying it , without any experience of it themselves . Yes Airfix have made some poor kits but so has everyone else in the market at one time or another ( yes even Tamiya) but it just seems airfix are an easy target and dont get enough credit fir the good things . Rant over ,
