GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape – 2mm
GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape is a 2mm wide PVC tape designed for precise and intricate masking when painting miniatures and models. Its flexible construction allows it to follow defined curves and contoured surfaces, helping to protect specific areas while you paint the surrounding sections.
The tape is intended for use with an airbrush or spray and can also be used with a brush with suitable techniques. By masking areas that need to remain protected, you can apply paint to neighbouring sections without accidentally colouring the masked surface.
The flexibility of the PVC tape allows it to follow shapes and contours rather than being limited to straight masking lines. At 2mm wide, it can be positioned around defined curves and detailed areas, making it particularly useful where conventional straight masking would be difficult to apply neatly.
The tape provides very good adhesion to model surfaces without leaving traces of glue behind. It will not absorb paint colour or leave marks, allowing it to be applied to both painted and unpainted surfaces during different stages of a modelling project.
GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape can be used across a variety of modelling subjects and surfaces. Suitable applications include miniatures, dioramas, plastic scale models, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects.
The 2mm width gives you a dedicated option for detailed masking where curves or contours need to be followed accurately. It can be used alongside other masking tapes and fluids when different shapes or areas require separate masking approaches during painting.
This GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape is made from flexible PVC plastic and is intended for precise masking work. Its combination of a 2mm width, good surface adhesion and ability to follow defined curves makes it suited to detailed masking by brush, airbrush or spray.
