discussion Haynes V8 Engine - plastic kit - (old build)

Inspired by another post on here about an engine build, I remembered I built a large plastic V8 engine a few years back.
I had a look and I still have the video of it, see linky to YT vid....

It had all the moving parts, valves, pistons, cam lifters, fan, timing belt, lights for the spark plugs, etc. Everything moved as it was battery powered.
As an educational tool it was great to see how an engine actually works.
I think I built this in one day maybe five or six hours in total.
The hardest part was getting all the valves / timing correct so it all worked as it should, eg: correct firing cycle, etc.

Was a very nice little kit, I think my wife bought it for me as a Christmas present?
Anyway, nothing special just thought I would share it on here....

That's the hardest part with the real ones as well!

....remember building a 'Visible V/8' for my kids way back in the day. Battery powered as well, but lack of lube caused short battery life.
