Getting away from tanks a bit, trying something different. Was just going to build dozer but then thought, why not combine it with the only other model in the stash that is the same scale {1/25} so I decided to put it in a vignette with a 66 Buick Riviera:confused: Of course I will have the Big Cat crushing the Dickens out of the Buick:cool: Lots of nice engine and chassis detail on both kits so will have to figure a away to position them so as to show as much as possible;) also have to figure a way to realistically crush car. A real challenge which should keep me busy during the hibernation season:D. Not forgetting my version of the Falaise atrocity, between them both I'll be keeping the work bench warm until spring...........Jim:)

CRUSHER!!

This is going to be great!

I wonder if you could warm the body of the car up in the oven till its soft, but not sagging, then do the crushing bit?

Thanks guys and Monica, was thinking of something along these lines, but I'd like to do a broadside crush instead of longitudinal

Pavement or dirt base ,don't know yet, I like the dirt idea because I can sink the car into it to better convey the immense weight of dozero_O This just hit me! I will need an operator if it's to be a live action snapshot so to speak. Will get busy on E-Bay:oops:

I've got the an idea, you build the dozer and send me the buick to build, then I can save it from being crushed;)

You could always use an old early Datsun model, mind you Datsuns normally disolved before getting anywhere near a crusher!

*Edit* or you could use a Holden and upset Monica.......not wholly recommended or endorsed!

looking good so far Jm, ;)
what size wire did you use ,as is it phone cable, ?
Thanks Monica, yeah it's 24 gauge phone wire. Tried to figure out how to glue wires where I wanted them to imitate hydraulic, fuel and water lines then it dawned on me to just drill out where I wanted the lines to go and it's worked great I think. Have different gauge wires for other hoses and lines, trying to include all I can {why noto_O} I like this particular project, it has much more detail than most tanks plus different color schemes and bigger scale.

I am a slow poke compared to you Monica so this whole deal should be quite drawn out, good for a winter project {snowed a good bit already so it should be a good one this year:eek:}............Jim:)
