maybe were in for a hot summer which I,real hate,we are 3 or so weeks into spring and I have not even planed

Thanks, I've studied what pics I could find plus I've worked on some stuff over the years. /cleared all the land for the three houses myself with a 1973 "Case" 450c about 12 years ago

Well, got some work done on dozer. Nice working in a bigger scale for once. Still very busy round-a-bouts but as it gets colder and we settle into winter then I'll shift into a higher gear.


Very preliminary of course, seems every part needs extensive cleaning up but it's easier with larger parts to work with. A very old model it seems {mid to late 70s} and it may have suffered from some overheating in the attic thus a bit of warping though very slight luckily. Engine not glued in yet just set it in to give an idea. Of course countless layers of color to go, I want it to look well used but not a salvage yard case...........Jim

Maybe some of you 1/25 ers out there can help me with a driver/operator figure for my dozer. Keep running into seemingly dead ends on line Jim

You might want to try 1/24 figures, which would be close enough but maybe more readily available. I know Fujimi released some (civilian) driver figures to fit their car range, and there are probably resin ones too.

Extraordinary technique, not a million miles away from the oil paint rendering I'm reading up at the moment. I have been tinkering with my Bradley and some oils, not as boldly as yours yet, but similar principal.


This is going to look amazing, the secret seems to be in the patience to build up many thin layers. I salute you sir!
