Hi Steve I've just read through the build so far, and may I say what great work your putting into this. The wood effect looks so real and the cannon work is just fantastic. I'm now watching this all the way.

made a new walkway , with some support post's , not painted yet , and I'm not sure if to put 2 or 4 post's

My personal opinion would be 4, or move those 2 one canon over each.

View attachment 290643 I agree with you ken , but my two mentor's dafi and Michael , have shown me this wasn't the proper way , I think French ship's use to do it not English , teach me to go off half cocked on my own LOL , I am trying to do a reasonable representation of the 1765 , [won't be quite up to Michael's ] , but this is how I am going at the moment , most of it is a dry fit .

I have taken the iron hoop's off of the mast's , apparently they didn't come into being till bout 1800 , filled the gap's with some 2.5mm 1/4 round rod and some bog , just have to add some rope band's mow .
