Hi, I'm new to this forum and want just say hello to you all.

I'm from Germany and my english lessons are not very often, so pls. don't worry about wrong written words.

I found you while I was looking for plans of inland river towboats. At the mom. I'm building the Savannah from Revell and a little towboat from Sweden by scratch. Most of my models I'm biulding from wood, but sometimes I have to learn to work with other materials too. So I hope you will give me assistance if needed.

:regards: Sven

Sven,

welcome to the forum. I will forgive your English if you will forgive me for not speaking German. You are most welcome and I hope we have something to share with you.

A very warm welcome to the Scale Models forum. I hope we can help in any way you need and you benefit from our tutorials and resources.

Please feel free to contribute your own experiences so that others may also learn from you.

It is particularly nice to hear from new members abroad who are able to share the modelling experiences of thier own country. I know for a fact that Germany are a long way ahead when it comes to model boat manufacturers and suppliers and a lot of my freinds visit the show at Dortmund every year.

Unfortunately all but one links point to thumbnails so they are not very clear.

Nice looking boats from what I can see though!

I changed the size, try out again.

Lovely boats Sven. I particularly like the scratch built clipper.

Thanks for the pictures.
