discussion HELP NEEDED Internal painting for Sd.kfz222

Would someone kindly point me in the right direction for the right colour to use on the above. I have read a few posts elsewhere that say the internals are not white but ivory is this the case? If so can anyone give me a very close match or mix combo to get it please any help is appreciated.

Ivory or a very light grey terry that's what ive read on other sites and seen builders do

Ivory or off-white is correct Terry. I use white with 20% stone (Humbrol enamels) as below with the turret interior of my Panzer III

I have sorted the colour but now need another question answering. Would the inside walls and the mounting ring for the turret be ivory or panzer grey?

No evidence to prove it Terry, but my feeling is that it would be panzer grey.


Being an open top, a light colour might be visible to aircraft at night.

Nice work Terry. This is why I closed the hatches on my Tiger, I've discovered it's as much a minefield for tanks as it is for German aircraft colours.
