Thread owner
First hi gary welcome to the forum and back to the hobby. Great advice above , as has been said the internet is a powerful tool when checking up if a kits ok before you buy , as for the scale models website , click on the scale models shop ad at the top of the home page and it links to the site, cheers tony
The trouble if find buying online,i can choose a model i fancy but they never state which paints to pair with it(prob says on the box although they never show that)
I'll prob do a paint free test model for now.

Gary,
If you like a model - try looking it up on Scalemates LINK that can tell you a lot about the model - sometimes the instructions & reviews, how old it is..................

Welcome Gary. I've been here almost a year now and have learnt so much from the experienced guys here that has really helped me progress.

As for paint colours, for some manufacturers you can download the instructions from their relative websites, or try the very useful Scalemates link that Dave provided as that can have them too. That should get you a list of the colours you need in most cases.

Welcome! In addition to the ways already mentioned for getting the colours, you can of course also ask on here for advice on which colours you may want for a particular model.
