Just finished another tank my Grandson entrusted to me to build for him during his absence at Uni.

Very nice kit. Normally I find single track links construction straight forward and easy, but these were a sod. Being convex they were difficult to glue together. I did my best.....

No primer and all brush painted with Vallejo Model Air acrylics and a bit of Humbrol enamels. I wanted to do the three colour camo., but he wanted it German Grey and squeaky clean - His model.

I like to keep track painting simple and straight forward. Mid. Brown acrylic paint and a pencil.

The instructions would have the builder gluing the top and bottom of the turret together, thus obscuring most of the internal detail. I've constructed it in such a way that the lad can fully take apart the turret and have a proper blimp!

Stunning work, can see what you mean about those tracks being a sod to build.
Can't see the reason for designing a convex track, surely it puts weight into a smaller area ?

Nice photos as usual, that sky has served you well.:smiling3:
