    People???

I stopped in a passing place, yes, I know, but I needed to clean my visor so took a picture to show the nice quiet single track. Nice, but when you look over the edge you see this. A load of plaster and tiles along with lots of old carpets, this place is at least 18 miles from the nearest town...

1/6 Tamiya Honda CRF1000 Africa Twin.

All finished now, a great kit to build. A couple of imperfections on the tank decals but it is what it is and I apologise for the crappy picture set up, one of these days I will set up a proper place for taking pictures. Andy.

    Just wondering.

Do you other guys put the airbrush cleaning pot in the spray booth when blowing cleaner through the airbrush? I have always done it as the tiny filter in the pot does not do a lot as far as I can see. Andy.

Tamiya 1/6 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin.

Still waiting for stuff to come for the rally truck so rather than do nothing I decided to start on this. Sprues, there are rather a lot. Hopefully the next pictures will be of something built. Andy.

Outrunner's 1/35 Italeri Jeep ambulance........Dave's Emergency Vehicle GB.

After my miserable failure with the wingy thing I did this for the GB. Nothing spectacular but it was very cheap and easy to build. Andy.

    Outrunner's 1/24 Revell Lightning McQueen for Jakko's Movie/TV GB.

Now complete, a quick build but a lot of fun to do. Andy.

    A look in the box.

Looking at the movable chain for my upcoming 1/6 Honda CRF 1000 Africa Twin build, this should be interesting. Four sprues with 70 odd parts on each. And a steel roller for every pin. At least Tamiya give you a jig to build chain sections on and a tool to press the side link plates on which...

    Outrunner's 1/24 Revell Lightning McQeen.

You also have the choice of using stickers or decals. Lightning McQueen was the star of the Disney/Pixar series of films of which I thought the first one was the best. For those that have not seen it here is a link to a Youtube short. Andy.

    Advice on cutting panels.

Not as simple as the title suggests, I have a plan which is never a good idea for me and it involves cutting through a side panel of a truck body that already has decals firmly fixed on it. So, has anyone done this, is it a stupid idea, or should I just go and lie down in a darkened room until...

    1/35 Zvezda Kamaz Rally Truck.

This should be interesting. Sprue shots. A rather large decal sheet. Typical Zvezda instructions although you do need to pay attention to the sub assemblies parts. Looking forward to starting this one. Andy.

    1/9 Protar AJS 7R Racer.

Pleased to say this is done now and relegated to a far away corner in case a loud noise makes it fall apart. You will see from the pictures that I should have wiped the dust specs off and the front number decal has not settled properly but no a mout of decal setter would make it better...

    What does the team think?

With the AJS nearly done and a month to finish the Jeep I need to find something else from the small pile under the bench to build so would like your opinion on which of these I should go with. Mind you, I may go with something else, but perhaps not. Andy.

    Outrunner's 1/35 Italeri Ambulance Jeep.

My second go at this group build. Sprues. Instruction sheet. Surely I can manage to build this without screwing it up. Andy.

    1/9 Protar AJS 7R Racer.

Oh look, another Protar kit I must be a sucker for punishment as this one is worse than the Ducati I built. Some sprue shots. White metal frame, swingarm, fork legs and stand and not bad looking tyres. All the flexible bits for pipes, grips, cables and chains. Chrome parts most of which...

    Revell 1/32 Kenworth Aerodyne.

All done..........at last, I think it came out OK, other opinions are available of course. Anyone got any ideas on what would be the best way of making a good background for taking pictures, colour, lighting etc as my pictures do not show up as good as I would like. Andy.

1/35 Thunder Models US Crawler Sixty.

All done as far as I am concerned, could be better but I kind of lost it with this model. There are a couple of headlights and a tail light in the box but they are so small and fragile I did not fit them, the box top picture shows it with no lights and all the pictures of the real thing have...

    Outrunner's 1/72 Revell DHC-6 Twin Otter.

This will be my first attempt at a GB, hope it goes well. The last (only) 2 wingy things I bought put me off so I sold one and gave the other one away but I thought I would give this one a go as it was small, cheap and it has rescue written on it so it will do for me. I will be building the one...

    Crash damage.

Does anyone know the best way to replicate crash damage on car bodywork? Nothing too serious, just afew dents and crumpled bits. Andy.

    Revell 1/32 Kenworth Aerodyne.

For a while now I just seemed to have lost my mojo and could not be bothered with anything, models, bikes or anything else for that matter. However, I got back to the loft yesteday and started to get on with the Caterpillar sixty but it was not to be as it is a bit fiddly so I laid it aside and...

    I have seen the light!

Dragged myself into this century today and replaced the flourescent tube in my workspace with an LED batten light, what a revelation that is as there is much more pure light and none of the harshness that you get with flourescent tubes, wish I had done it a long time ago. It took me longer to...
