Thanks Richi, should have the truck ready for paint by the end of this week:rolleyes: then to start the 8 inch;)
 
Excellent choice of subject "The Big Mac" we called them, also the gun. Have a Russian "Voroshilovets" tractor pulling a "Long Tom" Lend leased, coming soon;)............Jim

Thanks John, these really are nice kits, the only downer I would say about this particular kit is the fact it doesn't include an engine, it would have been great if it had:(

The new HB kits seem to pack more detail though....

Agreed John, very nice kits with plenty of detail, on par with anything from Trumpeter and Dragon, I like them that much I've bought a good few of them;)

Started on the Howitzer, had one or two fitting problems with this:eek: mainly with the gun and fitting it to the carriage, the main gun swivel fixing points didnt fit(ie) the siwvel point was to large, I had to do some crude surgery to enlarge the opening so that the gun cradle would fit into the hole(see pics) this will no have to be fixed permantely:(


Got a little more done on the truck also, just the cab and wheels to fix and one or two small bits and she`s done bar the paint:rolleyes:View attachment 113402

even with the bad fit of the gun ,lucky its not seen,and nice work on the truck, ;)
