Decided to get a crack on with these two, I`m going through a stage of building artillery pieces and their towing vehicles at the moment, got a start on the 666 truck, so far no issues to mention, nice kit to build, and I didnt realise....just how big these trucks were.

The new HB kits seem to pack more detail though....

Agreed John, very nice kits with plenty of detail, on par with anything from Trumpeter and Dragon, I like them that much I've bought a good few of them

Started on the Howitzer, had one or two fitting problems with this mainly with the gun and fitting it to the carriage, the main gun swivel fixing points didnt fit(ie) the siwvel point was to large, I had to do some crude surgery to enlarge the opening so that the gun cradle would fit into the hole(see pics) this will no have to be fixed permantely


Got a little more done on the truck also, just the cab and wheels to fix and one or two small bits and she`s done bar the paintView attachment 113402

even with the bad fit of the gun ,lucky its not seen,and nice work on the truck,
