Already it's looking awesome! I knew you wouldn't be able to resist super-sizing this one Jim! ;)

Some real great work going into this.
We all know the horror's of war and it is good to see you are not shying away from it.

If people are offended by it,then I think you have achieved what is being portrayed.

keep up the good work.
Many thanks Ralph, I hope no one is offended, it is just a diorama after all. Most on here know me by now so this is nothing new. I have a tendency to bite of more than I think I can chew

but I always see it through, though it may take some time to finally complete, but the way I figure it I ain't goin nowhere. I've always set big goals for myself, in life as well as my modeling

and this one will be EPIC!....................Humbly:oops:........Jim:)

Wow, this is epic. Love the crumpled wine foil idea, very creative thinking! Watching this like a hawk

That tank spider thing looks amazing and back to your work really like how you have used thin metal as the damage from the explosions really like it

Nice job so far Jim , I like that mangled kfz7
Thanks Alan, Putting old Mautier in because there's plenty of undercarriage detail to fiddle with, plus the quad 20mm.

also have a Renault Hotchkis light tank that I can make as a captured vehicle in the wreckage as it is kinda smallish and should fit in nicely;)

the new base dose suit better, lets you have some more room for placement so

bunched up,look about it, ;)

I agree Monica, will raise up one side so as to put wreckage in a bit of a hollow as many old French farm roads are.

Just realized I need to obtain a copious amount of dirt from outside! Hope it's not too frozen:eek:, I may have to break some up with the tractor:oops: Better get busy then...........Jim:)

if frozen, just bake it for a bit lol, will add depth to he color,

hope to see what the base looks like some time soon, ;)
