discussion How big is your stash?!?!

With my last acqusition, I currently have 12 planes and 6 AFVs, plus around 27 figures and accessories. I was wondering if that was just compulsive buying or what. How about your stash good people? I think you guys have more....lol

Well at last count my stash was 53 that includes armour, aircraft, figures, and buildings oh and spaceships , i class a box of figures as one kit

The swmbo said " you don't need that many kits "

To which my retort was " it's no different to you having a cupboard full of cloths and having nothing to wear !"

I have about 10 various kits and a couple of old kits with no decals etc. Coupled with a box and a drawer full of figures and two full drawers of bits and bobs and a tin full of sprue parts...that may just come in handy one day.

My stash currently stands at around 50 including vehicles,figures and aircraft. There is still room for more in November and December. November being Telford and December having Xmas .

9 kits in total and lots of eduard aftermarket for them.

I also have quite a bit of eduard kits. I am still trying to convert to acrylics, so I am forced to save and stop spending, so I can hopefully, one day get the whole gunze Mr Hobby range. My list of wanted stuff is ten times longer than just nine kits... lol

total - 109..........was over 150 2 years ago but i decided to sell quite a few and not buy any thing unless i really really wanted it

havnt included figures sets, just consider them to be 'extras'

the worrying thing is ive really gone off doing aircraft, think ive only done 1 in the last year lol

A Tamiya 1/32 P-51 Mustang which I keep meaning to build but haven't decided what scheme. It will also be a long project.

A new Revell 1/32 Spitfire. I'm waiting for some after market parts for this.

The three 1/72 kits that Polux sent me, I expect I'll build a couple of these after I finish the Corsair.

I don't build a stash, I build models

The last time I counted I was up around 45-50. Not a vast stash, but as a good few of them are rather large boxes; 1/35 torpedo boats, x4 for example take up lots of room. three 1/48 lancasters also fill a good part of the wardrobe!

Otherwise its a mish-mash of 1/35 armour and 1/48 aircraft with a few 1/32 scale ones creeping in on the sly!

I think my biggest excuse is that I have missed out on so many things I wanted, as they stopped the production even though they sold well. So now if I see a kit I want, I buy it.

Now I just have to live long enough to build them all.

I keep an Excel list of my stash. Sometimes it scares the hell out of me, looking at the amount of money spent, although my stash is not big.
