discussion How do I get in touch with this supplier?

Help needed please. I'm converting a a couple of Revell submarine kits to surface running R/C. I have been told that a firm called 'SHG Models' who are based in Stafford and sell the complete conversion kits for both my subs. I thought fantastic!!!! but.....

I've tried phoning an order....I only get an answer machine

I've left my number after the tone because '....we will get back to you as soon as possible'

It's been a week now...and I've heard nothing.

So I've e-mailed them and left my home number, my mobile number and my e-mail address for home and at work. Still nothing is heard from this firm.

Are they still trading? Do they want to do business?

Or can some one please advise me of a firm that can supply what I want to get my subs on the water?

Maybe they are a small company and all the staff are on holiday? Bit like tradesmans fortnight?

Seems you might be right. The firm have been in touch and I've ordered the bits to convert my Revell Type VIIC to r/c. Now I can get on and build the sub and wait for postie to drop the bits thru the box.

Hi one and all,

I'm not impressed with my supplier. After waiting over a week for a quote on how much my bits are going to be and another four days waiting for them to arrive, guess what - they've sent the wrong bits!!!!!!!!! Hold the camera, the conversion can't start yet.
