how to paint a tank

this has been a really interesting exercise for me , all these different texture's can really change the look of  a model , thank's for all the advice guy's

the trick with oils is to give it plenty of time to dry off, i know some people only give it a day or two, i prefer to leave it alone for at least a week.....or more

That looks really good to me Steve. You should be very proud of your Leopard :)

on ship's I use to only leave it for 1/2 hour , and see what it was like to gingerly wipe it off , it gave you a different effect for what type of wood you wanted

thank's Patrick , as I said , it was over done but gee I had fun and learn't a fair bit
 
started playing with the jagdpanzer , while I wait to get to some painting done on the leopard, got really ticked off 1/2 hour ago , ordered the 1/16 panza 4 for a not bad price start of the week , just got informed ,really bad delay so do I want to cancel 4 day's later , just hope they are as quick to refund as they were to take my money

i change those arms of those figures  ^_^  on that hetzer and put it on my E-25
