Nice to have some snow, it keeps trying here but it keeps turning to rain. This time of year I miss living in the Highlands (Scotland) with the mountains and the snow.

It looks bloody cold! That much snow in the UK would shut the entire country down.

Cheers

Steve

Jersey to day. No wind. No rain. No snow. Sunny at times. About 8 degrees.

Very pleasant winter's day.

AWW this is nuttin--- having light snowfall winter this year, usually get it by the foot, if I had pics to show you from last year you would truly be astounded!

I think I got about the same amount of snow where I live! Looks pretty similar to what Im looking at out my window. ;)

I was rudely awoken at 5,30am with a snow sweeper chugging up and down the path by our bedroom window. Not once, not twice, THREE times!!

Fearing the worse, I got up to dig the car out so SWMBO could drive to work.

I was rather annoyed upon looking out the widow to see all of maybe 1cm of snow.....Not amused!

It sure looks nice there where you are Jim. I love the snow.

One thing, you have posted the pictures twice, Could you be a star and edit the post. (No point in filling the new server up with double-up on the photos.

Are you glad with the out come of that there Super bowl thingy?

hey think that offensive coordinator will still have his job next year in Seattle? Im thinking NOT!!!!!

How's the weather? Not bad thanks, a few showers around but 26 degrees C expected today with a nice refreshing breeze.

My boss lives in Oakville Ontario and had 18 inches of snow last night and the night before. I called him at 1100 local and he was still shovelling snow to get out of his drive! The temperature was also -13c max and I thought it was could here in Warsaw.

I'll be in Ljubljana on Wednesday and the weather there doesn't look like much fun.

I worked in Sioux St. Marie (yeah, I know it's in Canada, not the US) years ago, in winter. To get the car out every morning I had to dig through the wall the pavement snow plough had thrown up against the front of the house; the wall the pavement snow plough had thrown up along the road side of the pavement; and the wall the street snow plough had thrown up from the road along the gutter. For 2 1/2 months! I'll have our rain any day.

Forgot to say. Love the bear on the porch as I do the snow blade on the 4x4. Could use one of those some times...

Yes, just sometimes the public sector is imperfect. I have just renewed my driving license in the Internet. First, I had to register with the Government Gateway (a security identifying thing for future contacts which I will try to avoid). Pages and pages, Address, Telno, Memorable Date; Memorable Place, Memorable Name, Passport No., Nat. Insurance No., etc. etc. etc. Then on to the Passport renewal stage. Lots of questions, as expected (diseases), lack of a leg etc. At the last-but-one page I got:

"If you present license includes a right to drive a minibus, agricultural tractor etc., you cannot renew that here, only your right to drive a car.

Renew your right to drive a car

->

Abandon

This was an "either or"! Absolutely classic!!!
