discussion Humbrol Decal fix

You guys are supposed to be able to 'fix' any problem so....

I have bottle of Humbrol Decal Fix. I can't get the top off. The stupid drawing on the top is meaningless. Do I press and twist, do I squeeze and twist or do I get BL**DY angry and throw it at the cat?

Does anyone have a bottle of this stuff and can identify the instructions on the top please?

LOL!

You push down and twist anti clockwise.

You may find some bottle lids will not come off no matter what because of the poor design

of the child-proof ratchet mech' inside. If it doesn't come apart you need to find a similar

sized bottle then wreck the lid off the humbrol bottle and pour the contents into the new bottle.

I always struggle with the Decalfix cap too. Child proof caps usually try me, maybe that is telling me something...

I sometimes go to my local Chemist and buy new/clean bottles as spares just in case this problem happens.....again!
