My son has asked me to make him a model of his truck, but he wants it as if it was made of bronze. So I dragged the elderly Airfix Harrier test object out and had an attempt. Painted it with Humbroz bronze and it looked a bit on the bright side so gave it a wash of greeny black which I don't think worked very well. Any Ideas would be welcome.

First two pics are the before wash and second two after. Needs a little bit of work (rather a lot really)

You could try a dry brush of bronze over the dark bits

Is it acrylic or enamel?

I found The enamel was a bit week but the acrylic was better for dry brush
