No note saying who it's from and my address on the jiffy was Printed on
Now this is clearly from someone who knows me as it has a mod on it but also it's for my phone

I've put it on Facebook but as yet know one has owned up

I hate receiving things and not knowing where they come from

So, you like the old Honda 50cc eh?

I too wonder who has bought you that, that way you can send it back and tell em to get you a model kit... :D

Oooooooooooooooooo, Alan has a girlfriend...or boyfriend...kissy, kissy, kiss...kiss.

I think it is a nice thing mate, it will be from someone you know, probably your wife lol.

Si, that's a Lambretta. I was a 'Mod' in the '60s and had one. It had more mirrors than this one.......Well it did until both me and my scooter had a good kicking by a group of 'Rockers' in a nice seaside town in North Wales!

Happy days.....

Yeah, I know Ron, just winding Alan up. Sorry to hear of your kicking...hope you gave some back.Si:)
Oops! Sorry Si, I should have realized...........I did get my own back. When it was dark I quietly went round the bikes belonging to my assailants and emptied loads of sugar into the petrol tanks!!!!!

I was the runt of the family everyone of them were rockers either in the sixties or later when they grew up me I've never followed the pack so it was a big shock to them all when I got my first Parker ha and the arguments I had with my elder brother about the late fifties early sixties American R&B sound was Mod lol

Nice one Ron I didn't have many problems with rockers being not born until 67 I was one of the revival bunch and it was the skinheads we had problems with

I remember when a load of Mods came to Rhyl for a weekend, I didn't know and had gone for a nice ride on my motorbike, when I came into Rhyl a bunch of them tried to scare me, they surrounded me at a set of traffic lights and I just laughed at them, they then tried to chase me, I think I was still only in second gear when I left them...

Andy...

Many many happy memories of my mod days, went from Vespa's with mirrors & spotlights to Lambretta's with as much power as possible (for a vacuum cleaner) just wish I had never parted with any of the many scoots I owned.

I started my love of motor racing because of being a bad boy.

I got many tickets for speeding, and the last time I was in court to have my licence suspended, the magistrate suggested if I like speed so much, I should do it in the proper place.

On a track.

I had my first scooter race at Snetterton around 1970, the rest is history and the best advice I have been given!

As I said, many happy memories.

Gregg

Very cool your looking there on that SX Gregg I only had three scoots , a Vespa 50 special with Vespa 100 sprint engine , a Vespa PX 125 and a 1966 lambretta LI 150 with an SX 125 engine I wrote everyone of off and decided I was no good at riding them so I gave up and I haven't been on one in over 20 years , actually cried when I done my lammy

What, 1867? :D

All this talk on here of scooters, Lammies and Vespa`s have brought back some memories, I have had a good few in my years as a scooter boy, I even ran a scooter club in my home town in the 80`s called the Notts Rejects SC.

I am still into the scene now days, and still own a few in various states, I even run a page dedicated to scooters old and new on FB called showusyourscoots surprising how many folk were into the same scene and into modelling;)

One of mine..

Tom
