I love making curry

Just after my daughter left uni she had a flat above an Indian family. The smells of the cooking coming up were divine. She talked to the lady of the family and said how wonderful her cooking smelled. From then on that lady took my 21 year old daughter a meal at least once a week. She really took her under her wing. The food was not hot but just so tasty. When my daughter left the flat we bought the lady a big bunch of flowers.

... I have some carrots which definitely need eating, and soon.
Can I offer my fabulous 'keep your carrots in tip-top condition' tip? Put them in a tupperware container of water in the fridge - they'll stay fresh, crisp, and totally unbendy for a remarkable length of time.

Railway curry with achari gobi, onion parathas and a rather too fiery carrot pickle.

Very nice, though I doubt that the pickle will get eaten :)
