IBG Models are from Warsaw, Poland - they make all sorts of models, tanks, aircraft & a few 1/700 waterline British ship models - Hunt Class II escort destroyers, and G, H, I class fleet destroyers - these vary in content, as the armament changed a lot over the war years,
Sturdy enough box, but 1/3 full - could be smaller!
One main sprue, and 3 smaller, so that variants can be catered for by swapping sprues.....................
Common decal sheet for all the fleet destroyers, but the PE is for 'G' Class only - some look a little small (!!) - they aren't replacement parts, they're the only parts...........................
The instructions are on full A4 glossy paper in colour
I'm not a fan of the CAD rendered instructions, I'd prefer line drawings, but being large & not trying to do too much in one stage OK.
The scheme is for Glowworm as she was in 1938, as part of the Spanish Civil War Neutrality patrol. Recogntion sripes painted on 'B' turret. The Union Flag on the fore Jack would only be flown at anchor.

I seem to think the 'G' class were the first RN ships with pentad torpedo tubes
Slide moulded funnel.
The parts are well moulded, with no flash - detail at this magnification looks a little soft, but at normal viewpoint is good.
Well presented model - with the PE fret,there's no need for AM parts, it's all in the box - the only thing I might say is that the boat davits might have been moulded, but that's nit picking.
Available? Yes, although stock levels always seem to be low. The Hunt class escorts are a couple of ponds cheaper than the fleet destroyers which go from £13-18!. I got mine from ebay, £14.95 delivered, it does pay to shop around - the base price may not vary, but the p&p can!.
Incidentally - on ebay, I've seen UK sellers charging £6+ for posting small models - way too much - as soon as I see that I lose interest in the lot. It's just a personal dislike of mine........... :rolling:
