Guys, I've been given this mess tin, yes it's seen better days but good for its age.
Can anyone give me an approximate age, country?
I've found them online but get its WW2, Russian, Finnish, German... yes but which one, I think it's German maybe late war possibly even 50s, can anyone of you history/ uniform buffs help please?
There is a marking of MM75?

I suspect it's post war, quite popular German/Austrian mess kit that kept the same shape for years with very little change. The 75 could be a year.
