Do any of you guys use a in car dash cam?

I got one an really cheap one and it is great for what I paid, time stamp, does audio and 1080p, records in 3 min slots and also has a 1 min shut down delay after you shut the engine off.

Yes.

One (two) in each of our cars.

Front camera and one in the rear, motion sensor when the car is off so when anyone gets nearer than 3 metres it records.
Great for car park idiots. Also 'bump' sensor when the car is off so again it records.
Sound, GPS location, time and date. Also takes high res still pics front and rear if you touch the camera screen.

All for £40.

Watch drivers in front suddenly slow down to the legal limit when they see the car behind has a dash cam!

must admit I've been thinking about getting one for the car myself.

Guys how about recomendations of type and model. I have also been thinking of having one fitted. It has a forward and rear lense all on the same model but didnt get good reviews. This was approx £200 from Halfords.

I got a Viper K6000 and at £10 I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but, it isn't that bad-night vision is not brilliant-but if you're handy I found a hack that works-the lens has a IR filter on the back, take this out and the night vision is much better. For that money, you could get two-one for day running and then the hacked for night.

I will get a vid up showing you what it is like.

Got a cheap £10 one after Insurance company decided I was at fault when hit by another driver.

Records in 15 minute segments, and has daylight and night modes. It can also freeze and save individual frames..
