Here we go...I've hunted high and low for the decals for 'Cuckoo' but found naff all! Well that's a lie, I did find some but they were out of stock...oh and discontinued...great!:confused::mad:

So I was a big boy and cracked open the white paint, got me trusty brush and with mark one eye ball, started painting, it needs tidying and the figures need a smudge over but here it is...Cuckoo!

nice job , nice paint work ,and do like the looks off that 1st painted figure do you think you could show him a bit better please :confused:nice hand-painted 'Cuckoo'.

don't you just hate that with decals had the same problem for my ss one a big boo i think :eek:

look forward to seeing the others done keep up the good work :rolleyes:
 
Very good Lee! Had to admit I wondered if the paint fumes had gone to your head a bit!

Is the zimm your own work?

real like him Lee great job as i think that alot off us can always pick up a tip by looking at others skilled peoples work with the figures and armor and vehicles
 
Nice work on the free hand painting especially the the lettering

Excellent work on the 'Cuckoo' and figs! I've just started painting the same figures - well, priming them anyway. The one with a hood was a bugger to put together for me. Hope mine turn out as nice as yours.

Thanks peeps, having a night off tonight from doing anything:eek::oops: :P , hopefully crack on tomorrow, get a lot more done too, then I'll post an update. ;)

The L/70 was 5.25 metres long, that's about 17-18 feet I think.

KwK 42 L/70 was 17 - 18 ft, I think that's from breach to muzzle but i'm not 100% o_O
